SKY TV walk on girl Nicola Cowell, will be at the Legends show at highley WMC, Shropshire, tonight, regular Premier League, nicola has escorted the elite of darts to the stage, but tonight she is in for the best, Bobby George, in shimmering Cape, Candelarbra Lit, more gold then Mr "T", a sight to behold, not plastic Hammers for the Legends ! Not sure if Bob Anderson, the cowboy, will be on his horse (he did it once before) nor Jungle Boy, Eric Bristow, on a Croc, that leaves just me, maybe time to get the Gold Zimmer out !! a great night in store.

The fight for the top eight places in the Premier League after week ten, is well and truly on, last night was week nine in Glasgow, and it was not all has predicted. first match Lewis v Hamilton, it was not a good match by their standards, especialy Hamilton, both players only managed 88 average, and in this company that is not good, but Lewis did what he had to do, and now finds himself one point clear of the bottom two. Whitlock seems to have lost his Wizard title, now playing almost ordinary darts, but let's not take anything away from Robert Thornton, he was on fire, a average of 107-65 gave him a 7-1 win, and is certain to make the shoot out for the title after week ten. Taylor is back on winning ways, his match against Barney, was top draw, both players averaging over the 100 mark, but it was Taylor who came out on top 7-3, can't help thinking, that little tiff they had a few weeks ago, has cetainly effected Barney, he seems to have lost the fire against Taylor. Next up was almost a a documentary "The Gary Anderson Story" a never ending story of missed doubles, Wes Newton won't mind in the least though, a 7-5 win gave him a slim chance of survival, mind, it is slim. Michael Van Gerwen played like he can. quick fire darts, high scoring, producing a average of 104, and yet he lost ! James Wade proved he is a cool customer, always stepping up to the mark, confident he will hit the required number, finishes of 135-134 and 130, decided this match, Wade has won the Premier League before, he certainly looks capable of doing it again.

The Premier League goes North to glasgow tonight, and what a line up we have, Taylor v Barney, this should/will be a cracking game, both players are looking for a win, Taylor back to winning ways las wekk, after two defeats in a row, Barney looking to make certain of continuing after week 10 in the tournament, when the two bottom players will drop out, Lewis plays Hamilton first on, not sure who this will suit best, Hamilton can play in any position, and I suspect Lewis is better early than late, si it should be a good match, Whitlock plays Thornton, this is make or break time for whitlock, who it has to be said, is not playing is usual consistent games, Thornton on the other hand has proved to be a threat to all players, and does not miss many doubles, Anderson the pride of Scotland takes on Newton, I expect Gary to be fired up for this match on home soil, he does badly need a win if he is going to make the cut, I think he will, Gerwen v Wade, a table topper, two players in good form, and both with different personalities, Gerwen never afriad to show his emotions, Wade gets on with it, then it all comes out afterwards, this will be all about finishing, Gerwen will reach those doubles in quick time,Wade may have to take out some big finishes if he is to win.

Whilst all this is going on, the Legends, Bristow and Lowe, will be at the Swan, Billingham, playing in one of the biggest charity matches of the year.

Adrian Lewis won for the second time in the Premier League in Cardiff, and now feels confident he can make the cut after the tenth week, his match against Robert Thornton, was very tight, and looked to be headinf for a drw when Thornton hit a maximum in the 12th leg, but Lewis was first to the double, and closed the match out at 7-5. Phil Taylor was also back to winning ways against Wes Newton, he showed glimpses of his top form in a match that Newton was clearly never in, a 7-2 win for Taylor means he is almost certain to make the cut, Hamilton beat Whitlock 7-4 in a scrapply match, that puts Whitlock in the danger zone of the table, Van Gerwen hit top form, and destroyed Gary Anderson, MVG gave a lesson in top class finishing, something Anderson needs to do if he is to find a place in the top eight who will go through after week ten, Wade and Barney played out a draw, and it was a fair one, both players doing nothing sensational, but it is Lewis who will be smilling this morning, is he on his way back to the form that won him two world titles in a row ? he says he is, it will be interesting to see what unfolds over the next three weeks.
