The Stats

John Lowe did not start playing darts until he was 21 years of age. John claims it was fate that introduced him to a sport that he has graced for over 45 years.

A carpenter by trade, John was on his way to a motor cycle race at Oulton Park, in Cheshire, the weather turned nasty so the trip was abandoned.

John called in at a local pub, the butchers Arms in Brimington, four guys where playing darts, one of them went to the toilet and asked John to take his throw, John obliged, the rest is history.
